JME welcomes piano students
JME Junior Music Experience is a piano performance evaluation program for young people in the Cincinnati, Ohio and Northern Kentucky area. Lenore Wilkinson and Linda Henn Bergholz established the program in 1982 to encourage young piano students to continue their studies and to reward them for their efforts. Not a contest, JME enables even young, beginning piano students to participate in student-friendly evaluations not competitions in front of a panel of judges but rather in a one-on-one environment with a piano teacher like their own. Get more information here.
If you are a student who would like to participate in a future JME Evaluation, ask your teacher to contact JME for information.
Next Evaluations
The spring JME Evaluations will be conducted on Saturday, April 26, 2008. The Evaluations take place at several locations in the Greater Cincinnati area including Northern Kentucky.
